Real proofs, real granite
You approve exactly this. Your stone matches it exactly.
Before any stone is touched, our engraver hand-builds a proof of your marker on photographs of the real granite — every letter, every carving, every photo placed. These are example proofs we’ve made, so you can see exactly what you’ll approve.
The names, dates, and photographs on these proofs are examples — not real families. Porcelain-photo portraits shown are licensed stock imagery.
The process
What happens, and when.
Most marker companies say “8 to 16 weeks, it depends.” Here is the actual path your marker takes — typically 5 to 7 weeks, start to placement.
01
Design it
15 minutes, or a phone call
Use the designer at your pace — or call and we'll design it with you. Drafts save automatically and never expire.
02
We check your cemetery
1–2 days
Every cemetery has its own rules. We verify yours and handle the approval paperwork, so nothing comes back rejected.
03
Approve your proof
2–3 days
A real engraver reviews your design and sends an exact proof. Nothing is cut until you say so.
04
Engraved & inspected
3–4 weeks
Sandblast-engraved locally in Southern California, then inspected against your approved proof — letter by letter.
05
Delivered & placed
1–2 weeks
We coordinate delivery and placement directly with your cemetery, on their schedule. You don't chase anyone.
Family-owned, family-answered
Talk to the family
behind your marker.
SoCal Monuments is a family-owned Southern California business. When you call, you reach the person who will personally handle your marker — not a call center. Call or text us with anything: a question, a photo of an existing family marker to match, or just to talk it through.

Leave your name and we’ll call, text, or email — no pressure, no obligation.
Pricing
One price. Everything in it.
$1,295
The 28″ × 16″ × 3″ polished marker, all design work, unlimited proofs, engraving, cemetery paperwork, and delivery. Five of our six granites are included; Blue Pearl is $1,495. A porcelain photo of your loved one can be added for $425. As much wording and as many designs as belong on their stone — we don’t nickel-and-dime remembrance. Plus applicable sales tax.
Cemeteries and mortuaries typically charge considerably more for the same stone — ask them for their price list and compare.
Whenever you're ready.
There's no deadline on this. Start a design, set it down, come back next month — it will be exactly where you left it.
