Accessibility

Last updated October 29, 2026

Every family should be able to plan a memorial with us, however they use the web. Our goal is for socalmonuments.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we have done

  • Text and buttons are designed with strong color contrast.
  • Pages and forms can be used with a keyboard.
  • Form fields have labels, and images have text descriptions where needed.
  • A “Skip to main content” link lets you jump past the menu.

Known limitation

In the online designer, dragging items around the marker preview uses a mouse or touch screen. Every choice in the designer can be made with the keyboard, and our engraver sets the final layout on every proof, so you never need to drag anything. If you prefer, we will design the marker for you, or you can plan it with us by phone.
