The San Jacinto Valley Cemetery District has been the valley's burial ground since 1917, and its marker rules are stricter than any neighboring district: flat granite or marble no larger than 12″ × 24″, square smooth edges, one marker per grave, a concrete foundation, and a required 3″ cement border flush with the stone.
We cut San Jacinto markers to that published spec at our standard all-inclusive price. Design the inscription online on real granite photography, approve the engraver's proof, and we coordinate the foundation and border requirements with the Santa Fe Avenue office before delivery.

What size marker does the San Jacinto cemetery allow?
Flat granite or marble up to 12″ × 24″, between 2½″ and 3″ thick, with square smooth edges — and only one marker per grave site, even on double plots. Don't buy a 16″ × 28″ stone for San Jacinto; we cut a 12″ × 24″ to the district's spec.
Why does San Jacinto require a cement border?
The required 3″ cement border, set flush with the marker, shields the granite from tractors, mowers, and edgers — the district's version of the lawn-mower-proof edge other cemeteries require on the stone itself. We coordinate the border with the office as part of your order.
How much does a grave marker cost in San Jacinto?
$1,295 all-inclusive — the stone cut to the district's published spec, design, engraving, unlimited proofs, and the office coordination ($1,495 in Blue Pearl; porcelain photo +$425). The district's setting fee is separate; the current schedule is available at the cemetery office.
